Course: 9.36 Requirements of NBC 2010
This three-day course focuses on the core concepts of 9.36 in the NBC 2010. Participants will learn about specific requirements of the NBC 2010 and how they are applied to buildings in New Brunswick. Additionally, the technical changes for NBC 2015 will be reviewed. The main goal of this course is to introduce the concepts used to determine compliance with the energy efficiency components of the National Building Code. It will help participants clarify the typical problems confronted when dealing with energy efficiency provisions of the code.
Who: Trevor Murray, CRBO, PTech
Trevor Murray is the Manager of Building Inspection and By-law Enforcement for the Town of Quispamsis. He is a former energy advisor certified by the federal government and nationally recognised as an expert on 9.36 and effective enforcement of its requirements.
