The membership of the Association consists of the following: L’Association sera composée des catégories de membres suivantes :

(a) REGULAR MEMBER  $125.00 - Person who is engaged and/or affiliated with the inspection field administering the National Building Code, the National Fire Code or other related legislated standards.

a) MEMBRE RÉGULIER : Une personne qui travaille dans le domaine de l’inspection et/ou qui y est affilié, et qui administre le Code national du bâtiment, le Code national de prévention des incendies ou autres normes connexes imposées par la loirèglements qui portent sur la protection de la santé et de la vie. Tel qu’indiqué à l’article 3 des présents règlements, ces membres doivent acquérir un certain nombre de crédits d’apprentissage.

(b) CORPORATE MEMBER - Corporate Members shall be any firm, business or company allied to, or associated with, the building industry and dedicated to the protection and enhancement of public safety excluding Municipal, Federal, Provincial Governments and their Departments, Agencies, Commissions etc. Corporate members shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of Regular Members, but shall not have the right to vote or
to hold Executive office.

(c) HONORARY MEMBER: Pays No Dues - Honourary memberships shall be restricted to individuals who have rendered outstanding service to the furtherance of the purposes and objectives of the Association. Honourary membership shall be conferred upon the recommendation of the Executive and approved by majority vote of the members present at the Annual General Meeting. Any member may nominate an individual for this honour to the Executive. Honourary members shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of Regular Members, but shall not have the right to vote or to hold Executive office.

(c) MEMBRE HONORAIRE : Peut être décerné à toute personne ou groupe de personnes sur recommandation du Comité exécutif approuvée par les deux tiers des membres votants lors de l’assemblée générale annuelle. Les membres honoraires et associés jouiront des mêmes droits et privilèges que les membres réguliers, mais ils n’auront ni le droit de vote, ni celui d’être
titulaire de charge.

(d) RETIRED MEMBER Pays No Dues - A person who has retired and has been a Regular Member of the Association and is not actively practicing in the field of building inspection. Retired members shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of Regular Members, but shall not have the right to vote or to hold Executive office.

d) MEMBRE À LA RETRAITE : Une personne à la retraite et qui n’est plus active dans le domaine de l’inspection des bâtiments. Ces membres n’ont pas à répondre aux exigences de certification établies à l’article 3 des présents règlements.

The Annual Dues,

Are set at the Annual General Meeting and are payable on the first day of January for the ensuring fiscal year;
